Ministry of Agriculture receives a project to pave a water canal in Tuban, Lahj.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation for the Production Sector, Abdul Malik Naji, received today, Thursday, the paving project of the water canal in Al-Bustan village (June 22) in Tuban District, Lahj Governorate, from the implementing party. The project was implemented by the Renaissance Makers Organization with funding from the DRA organization through the Cordaid organization. During the handover, Deputy Minister Naji explained that the project comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry and the local authority in Lahj Governorate to protect the foundations of residential buildings from erosion caused by water leaks, and to improve the irrigation system in the village, as the project contributes to enabling farmers to control the amount of water during irrigation, in addition to establishing a home water supply network and another for sanitation serving the residents of the area.
