Arab Sea - Follow-ups: The Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Dr. Mohammed bin Ayda Shabiba, issued a strong statement criticizing the infiltration of what he called "degrading culture" into the political arena, which - according to him - justifies lying, hypocrisy, and duplicity, and criminalizes honesty and adherence to principle. Shabiba said that this culture "lifts the pen from the politician," until morals and chivalry are described as naivety, while political opportunism and fluctuation according to interests are rewarded. He added sarcastically, "A politician who excels with every beat; with the Imamate at night and with the Republic during the day," considering that this dichotomy is one of the most prominent reasons for the loss of the country and the deterioration of its conditions.
