The murder of citizen Ummat Al-Rahman Ali Saleh Al-Omari inside her home in the capital, Sana'a, has sparked widespread anger and condemnation due to the atrocity of the incident and its violation of the security of society. The security services were able to arrest one of those involved, while three others are still at large, despite official directives to pursue them and search their homes. Mahmoud Ahmed Abdulkarim Al-Matari, Ahmed Tawfiq Al-Ahmadi, Ahmed Jaber Ali Al-Matari, and Hamed Hamid Abdulrahman Al-Matari are suspected of involvement, as surveillance cameras showed them arriving in a red RAV4 car before storming the house on Monday, November 12, and firing shots inside and outside while fleeing. Sources indicated that the victim had recently returned from the United Arab Emirates to attend the wedding of a relative, confirming her family's demand that the concerned authorities quickly arrest the rest of the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
