Yemen: 4 tons of spoiled materials destroyed in an environmental health campaign in Aden

**Arab Sea - Reports:** **The Environmental Health Department in Al-Mansoura Directorate - Aden, carried out a field campaign on Thursday morning that resulted in the destruction of about 4 tons of food and consumer goods unfit for human consumption, including cheeses, juices, sweets, and expired baby products.** **Hassan Abdulaziz Al-Subaihi, head of the Environmental Health Department, confirmed that the materials were destroyed after being examined by specialists and confirming that they did not meet health requirements. Mahmoud Al-Muflahi, the deputy head of the department, also explained that the inspection teams seized more than 50 cartons of spoiled cheese and other quantities of juices and sweets.** **Inspector Aziz Othman pointed out that the control teams are working with high efficiency to ensure the safety of the products on display, while Al-Muflahi stressed the directives of the directorate's leadership not to be lenient with violators, praising the support provided by the Director General of Al-Mansoura, Ahmed Al-Dawoodi.** **It is worth mentioning that the department has achieved clear accomplishments in combating the sale of spoiled materials during the past period through periodic field campaigns that included various markets.**
