Arab Sea - Reports: The Criminal Prosecution in the capital, Aden, issued a judicial order to the Director-General of the Taiz Governorate Police to arrest the Director of the Asifra Police Department, Muadh Marsh Qaed al-Mikhlafi, and his son Ghazi, on suspicion of their involvement in the assassination of the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Afthan al-Mashhari. The prosecution confirmed in an official statement that the accused ignored several official summonses, which prompted it to issue an immediate directive to deposit them in the central prison, in preparation for investigating them in accordance with legal procedures. These developments come amid a widespread popular and official outcry, demanding justice and the disclosure of all those involved in the crime. While the Taiz police announced the killing of the main perpetrator, activists and human rights advocates continue to pressure for the disclosure of everyone who helped or colluded in the crime, stressing that justice is not complete until all those involved are held accountable.
