In a new escalation against international organizations, forces affiliated with the Houthi group stormed the headquarters of the International Medical Corps in Sana'a today, Tuesday, and detained a number of its local employees, after confiscating equipment and devices from its offices. Local sources stated that the raid took place on 50th Street, south of the capital, where some employees were transferred to an unknown location, amid tight security. This incident comes as part of a series of repeated violations targeting humanitarian and UN organizations in recent months, since the escalation of the Houthis' rhetoric accusing these organizations of "espionage." The International Medical Corps is one of the most important medical organizations operating in Yemen, managing support projects for more than 20 health facilities in a number of governorates for more than 14 years.
