Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Air Forecast and Early Warning Center at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology expects the coastal areas to witness clear to partly cloudy weather today, Saturday, humid and hot during the day and moderate during the night hours, with the possibility of scattered rain on the eastern coasts and the Socotra archipelago, while the winds will be active at times on the southwestern coasts, Bab al-Mandab, and Mayyun Island. In its daily weather bulletin, the center explained that the mountainous highlands will record dry and moderate weather during the day and cold to very cold at night, with chances of fog formation or light rain on scattered parts of the western highlands. As for the desert and plateau areas, they are expected to witness clear to partly cloudy weather, hot during the day and cold to very cold at night, with moderate winds. The bulletin indicated that the expected temperatures today in the most prominent Yemeni cities will be as follows: Aden (33/23), Mukalla (33/22), Hodeidah (33/25), Socotra (32/22), Mocha (35/25), Al-Ghaida (32/19), Seiyun (30/10), Marib (29/13), Sana'a (23/2), Dhamar (23/2), Ibb (26/7). The center called on citizens, especially the elderly, children, farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers, to take the necessary precautions against the drop in temperatures during the night and early morning hours in the mountainous and desert areas. The marine bulletin also indicated that the sea state will be light to moderate waves on the coasts of the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and moderate to turbulent in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, warning fishermen and seafarers of wave turbulence on the southwestern and western coasts.
