Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The leadership of the Taiz axis and the governorate's police department announced today, Monday, the arrest of four out of five main suspects in the assassination of Afthan al-Mashhari, director of the governorate's Cleaning and Improvement Office. The joint statement clarified that the fifth suspect is still at large and is being pursued through a wide security deployment in the northeastern square of the city, with the establishment of checkpoints and security barriers, and the use of female police officers to search some suspected houses. The statement indicated that the security campaign has moved since the first hours of the crime "seriously and firmly," stressing the continuation of efforts until all those involved, collaborators, and concealers are brought to justice, and emphasizing that "the security and military units are working in full harmony and with high responsibility," denying what some parties are promoting about the existence of internal disputes or obstacles.
