Yemen: Al-Alimi Praises Saudi Support for Yemen with 1,380,250,000 Saudi Riyals

Arab Sea_Follow-ups: President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of the members of the Council, the government, and the Yemeni people, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for the generous directives to provide additional economic support to the general budget and the reform program in Yemen, worth 1 billion, 380 million, and 250 thousand Saudi riyals. In a tweet on the "X" platform, the President said that this support, part of which was allocated to operate Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital, embodies the Kingdom's fraternal approach and confirms its firm commitment to stand by the Yemeni people and their aspirations for stability, peace, and development. Al-Alimi praised the efforts of the government, the Central Bank of Yemen, and the economic teams in the two brotherly countries, along with the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, which resulted in this generous support to enhance the state's ability to meet its obligations and give economic reforms a strong boost towards recovery and growth. Earlier today, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had directed the provision of additional support to the brotherly Yemeni people in light of the difficult economic conditions facing the brotherly Republic of Yemen, based on the recommendation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. In a statement, the ministry explained that the new economic and development support, amounting to one billion, three hundred and eighty million, and two hundred and fifty thousand Saudi riyals through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, comes in response to the appeal of the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, and in confirmation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continued support for the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government. According to the Saudi Foreign Ministry statement, the support comes Out of the Kingdom's leadership's keenness to achieve security, stability, and prosperity for brotherly Yemen, and to contribute to establishing economic, financial, and monetary stability in the brotherly Republic of Yemen, this included supporting the government budget, supporting oil derivatives, in addition to supporting the operating budget of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden Governorate, in accordance with strategies that support the Yemeni government's efforts in implementing economic reforms.
