Arab Sea - Follow-ups: The mutual threats between Israel and the Houthi group have escalated, against the backdrop of the continued attacks carried out by the group against Israeli targets in the Red Sea and inside the occupied Palestinian territories, as the Israeli Minister of Defense, Yisrael Katz, threatened to assassinate the group's leader, Abdul Malik al-Houthi. Katz said in a post on the "X" platform, "Abdul Malik's turn will come, and he will be sent to meet his government and all members of the axis of evil," as he put it, referring to the axis of resistance led by Iran, which includes armed groups in the region, including the Houthi group. This statement comes a few weeks after Israel carried out an air strike targeting the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, which resulted in the killing of Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi, head of the Houthi government, which is not internationally recognized, and a number of his ministers. Hebrew media reported on Thursday that a drone penetrated Israeli airspace coming from Yemen and exploded at the entrance of a hotel in the city of Eilat, causing material damage without casualties. The official broadcasting corporation stated that sirens sounded in the city, while the occupation army announced the interception of another missile launched from Yemen. The Houthi group responded remarkably to the threats of the Israeli Minister of Defense, Yisrael Katz, to raise the Israeli flag over Sana'a, stressing that such statements are nothing more than provocative statements. Muhammad al-Farah, a member of the group's political bureau, said via the "X" platform: "Whoever talks about raising the Israeli flag in Sana'a must first restart the stalled port of Eilat and raise the flag on its ships that are forced to hide under the flags of other countries for fear of Yemeni naval operations." He added, addressing Katz: "You are talking about occupying Sana'a, and you are even unable to recover the Israeli Galaxy ship."
