**Arab Sea - Follow-ups:** A large, "angry" demonstration took place today, Saturday, in the city of Taiz, condemning the assassination of the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Office in the governorate, "Afthan Al-Mashhari," who was targeted with ten shots to the head last Thursday. The demonstrators raised pictures and banners bearing the name and image of Al-Mashhari, demanding the swift arrest of the perpetrators of the crime and bringing them to justice. The protesters chanted angry slogans affirming that Al-Mashhari's blood would not be shed in vain, and that Taiz would not remain silent in the face of this repeated criminal targeting. The marches, which started from several neighborhoods, expressed the state of public anger towards the increasing rate of assassinations and the state of security chaos that the city is witnessing, amid widespread calls to put an end to this chaos. The protesters called on the local authorities and security agencies to take full responsibility for uncovering the circumstances of the crime, and to take serious action to end the state of laxity in pursuing the perpetrators, stressing that the stability of Taiz begins with imposing the prestige of the state and justice.
