**Arab Sea - Follow-ups:** The Israeli army announced today, Wednesday, that its estimates indicate that approximately 400,000 Palestinians have fled Gaza City to other areas within the Strip, amid ongoing preparations for a large-scale offensive against Hamas, according to the "Times of Israel" newspaper. According to the army, about one million Palestinians resided in Gaza City before the recent escalation, but the orders it issued to civilians for immediate evacuation to a "humanitarian zone" in the south of the Strip have driven tens of thousands daily to displacement, with the number of those leaving exceeding the United Nations' expectations. The statement indicated that the coastal Al-Rashid Road is experiencing heavy congestion due to the increasing numbers of displaced people, prompting the army to announce the opening of an additional evacuation route via Salah al-Din Road - the main highway between the north and south of the Strip - from 12 noon today until 12 noon on Friday, to facilitate the movement of those fleeing and reduce risks to civilians. This development comes as Israeli forces continue to prepare for a potential ground offensive targeting Hamas positions in Gaza City, amid international calls to secure humanitarian corridors and ensure the safety of civilians.
