The funeral procession was led by Houthi political, media, and military leaders, amid widespread condemnation of the horrific crime, which mourners considered a flagrant violation of international norms and conventions, and an unprecedented massacre against journalists and media professionals. The participants affirmed that these crimes will not deter the Yemeni people and their national media from what they described as "continuing to expose the violations of the Zionist enemy and supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people and their just cause."
