**Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups:** The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed, on Tuesday evening, the United Nations' decision to officially move the Resident Coordinator's functions in Yemen from Sana'a to the interim capital, Aden. The Ministry explained in a press statement that this step represents an important beginning to strengthen the United Nations' presence in the interim capital, calling on the rest of the UN agencies, funds, and programs to follow suit and move their offices to Aden. The Ministry affirmed the government's commitment to full cooperation with all UN agencies, funds, and programs in order to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to all needy Yemenis in various governorates, and to provide the necessary facilities for the work and protection of UN staff and humanitarian workers, in accordance with international privileges and immunities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its strong condemnation of the Houthi militia's continued arbitrary detention of dozens of humanitarian workers, demanding their immediate and unconditional release. The Ministry stressed that moving the United Nations offices to the interim capital, Aden, will enable it to serve the Yemeni people better, and enhance cooperation and coordination with various ministries and government institutions in the fields of humanitarian and development work.
