Yemen: Israel launches airstrikes on the port of Hodeidah

Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the port of Hodeidah on the western coast of Yemen on Monday afternoon, in a new development in the escalating events in the region. Israeli Army Radio reported that the Air Force had begun a large-scale attack on the port, while Hebrew Channel 12, quoting a military source, stated that the aim of the strikes was to "disrupt the port for several more weeks." In contrast, media outlets affiliated with the Houthi group announced an "Israeli aggression targeting the port of Hodeidah," noting that its air defenses were confronting the aircraft participating in the raids. According to Israeli channels, the number of strikes has so far reached 12 airstrikes targeting three docks in the port, amid fears of direct repercussions on shipping traffic and humanitarian supplies through this vital port.
