**Arabian Sea_Reuters:** The UN Human Rights Council announced on Monday that it will hold an emergency debate session tomorrow, Tuesday, regarding the Israeli airstrike that targeted leaders of the Hamas movement in Qatar. The council added that the session will address "the recent military aggression launched by the State of Israel against the State of Qatar on September 9, 2025," according to Agence France-Presse. An "emergency" Arab-Islamic summit kicks off today, Monday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, to discuss the response to the unprecedented Israeli attack. The meeting comes amid widespread international condemnation of the attack, particularly from Arab countries and the United States, Israel's main supporter, in an effort to take a collective stance. A draft statement of the summit yesterday, Sunday, stated that the summit will emphasize the need for the international community to act to put an end to Israeli attacks in the region and support the efforts of Qatar, Egypt, and the United States to stop the war on the Gaza Strip.
