Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: The Air Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted today, Sunday, thunderstorms over parts of the southern and eastern coasts and the mountain highlands extending from Saada in the north to Lahj in the south, with hot weather in the coastal and desert areas. The center explained that the winds will be active to strong around the Socotra archipelago, while the maximum temperatures will range between 38 and 41 degrees Celsius in the coasts and deserts, and decrease to between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius in the mountain highlands. The center warned citizens and vehicle drivers against being in the paths of torrents and valleys, and from the dangers of thunderstorms and reduced horizontal visibility during rainfall. It also alerted fishermen and seafarers to the disturbance and high waves, especially in the Arabian Sea and the Socotra archipelago.
