Sana'a - The Arabian Sea The Arabian Sea newspaper mourns with deep sorrow and grief the death of the great national leader Sheikh Naji Juma'an, one of the most prominent sheikhs and historical leaders of Yemen, who passed away after a life full of giving and struggle for the sake of the nation and the state. In an official condolence telegram, the members of the editorial board of the Arabian Sea newspaper sent their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the sons of the deceased and the Juma'an family, affirming that the departure of Sheikh Naji Juma'an is not only a loss for his family and tribe, but a great national loss for all of Yemen. The telegram read: “The deceased was one of the pillars of wisdom and statesmen who left a clear mark on the course of the Yemeni revolution, and among the first supporters of the blessed 22 May unity, believing that Yemen can only be built through its cohesion and unity.” They added in their obituary that Sheikh Naji Juma'an will remain a national symbol in the memory of generations, for his courage, loyalty, and political balance in a period that required statesmen of his stature and position. They concluded their obituary by praying for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, and for his family and relatives for patience and solace, affirming that their condolences are the condolences of every loyal Yemeni, and that Yemen has lost one of the makers of its history and its towering symbols. Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return. And give good tidings to the patient.
