Arab Sea - Follow-ups: Political sources in Libya reported early this Saturday morning that a security agreement has been reached stipulating the withdrawal of the "Deterrence Apparatus" forces from Mitiga International Airport and handing it over to the airport's protection force. The sources stated that the Mitiga Airport Protection Force, under the command of Ramzi Al-Qamoudi, will take over the airport and then assume the security operation after the withdrawal of the "Deterrence" forces, coinciding with the withdrawal of all military forces that entered Tripoli to their headquarters. Sources in the Libyan Presidential Council confirmed that the agreement is under international auspices and supervision by the head of the council, Mohamed al-Menfi, noting that the agreement will be followed by immediate security arrangements in the capital, Tripoli. According to the sources, the security arrangements stipulate the start of the withdrawal of all military militias from the capital, Tripoli, and the end of armed manifestations, in addition to handing over Mitiga prison to the Ministry of Justice and the Judicial Police in the coming days. Political analyst Faraj Farkash wrote on his Facebook account, commenting: "According to the news received... what a Chinese sage said turned out to be true." Farkash added: "The withdrawal of the Deterrence Apparatus from Mitiga Airport... and the handover of wanted persons to the Public Prosecutor's Office... and Turkey is the mediator."
