According to a statement from the bank, Al-Kuraimi Bank granted ten thousand Saudi riyals to each player and administrator in the national youth team, regardless of the result of the final match. The national team ended the first half by narrowing the gap after scoring a goal against Saudi Arabia, which had been leading by two goals since the first minutes of the match. The team started the second half with a dangerous attack on the Saudi goal, amid hopes that Yemen would win the title of Gulf champion for the first time.
