**Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special:** The Houthi-affiliated Ministry of Health said that Israeli airstrikes that targeted the capital Sana'a and Al-Jawf Governorate on Wednesday evening resulted in 127 dead and wounded in a preliminary toll. According to a statement from the ministry, carried by the Houthi version of the "Saba" news agency, nine civilians were killed and 118 others were injured in what was described as "violent" shelling, with the possibility of the numbers rising as rescue operations continue. The statement added that civil defense and ambulance teams are working to extinguish fires and recover victims from under the rubble. Sana'a, along with the governorates of Amran and Al-Jawf, witnessed a series of violent explosions resulting from Israeli airstrikes, in an attack described by observers as a new qualitative escalation in the course of the confrontation.
