Arab Gulf - Follow-ups: Qatar announced on Wednesday that it "will not tolerate reckless Israeli behavior" after the bombing that targeted the residence of Hamas leaders in Doha on Tuesday. The Qatar News Agency (QNA) said that Doha sent a message on Wednesday to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Permanent Mission of South Korea to the United Nations, President of the Security Council for this September, Sangjin Kim, regarding "the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential headquarters where a number of members of the political bureau of the Hamas movement reside in the capital." In the message, Qatar expressed "its strongest condemnation of this criminal assault, which constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents on its land." It also affirmed that the security and civil defense authorities and the competent authorities immediately began dealing with the incident, taking the necessary measures to contain its repercussions and ensure the safety of residents and surrounding areas. Qatar noted that "while strongly condemning this attack, it affirms that it will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior and the continued tampering with the security of the region and any act that targets its security and sovereignty, and that investigations are underway at the highest level, and more details will be announced as soon as they are available." Doha requested that the message be circulated to members of the Security Council and issued as an official document of the Council's documents.
