Yemen - Arabian Sea – September 10, 2025 The Yemeni Peace Committee condemned the Israeli aggression that targeted the State of Qatar yesterday, considering it a dangerous act of aggression and a blatant violation of the sovereignty of a peaceful Arab state, describing this escalation as a war crime that threatens Arab national security as a whole. In a statement issued today, the committee affirmed that the Israeli attack on Qatar is not only an attack on one country, but an attack on all Arabs and a direct provocation to the Arab and Islamic nations. It also stressed that Israel's continued commission of such hostile acts shows its contempt for international laws and conventions, and reflects the international community's inability to restrain it. The Yemeni Peace Committee called for a unified Arab position that transcends internal differences to confront repeated Israeli attacks, and urged the international community and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities and take urgent measures to deter Israel and prevent it from repeating these crimes. The committee renewed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership and people, stressing that the Israeli aggression will only increase the Arabs' determination to defend their sovereignty, rights and supreme interests. The following is the text of the statement Statement issued by the Yemeni Peace Committee In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful The Yemeni Peace Committee condemns in the strongest and harshest terms the treacherous Israeli aggression against the sisterly State of Qatar, and considers it a dangerous act of aggression and an unacceptable precedent that represents a direct threat to Arab national security, and a blatant attack on the sovereignty of a member state of the League of Arab States. This blatant aggression confirms the reality of the Israeli entity as a rogue entity outside international law, which does not hesitate to practice organized terrorism against Arab peoples and countries alike. It is an aggression that amounts to a full-fledged war crime, for which Israel bears full responsibility before the international community. The Yemeni Peace Committee affirms that targeting Qatar is not only an attack on a specific country, but an attack on all Arabs, and a threat to security and stability in the entire region. From here, we call on all Arab countries to unite their ranks and overcome their internal differences to confront this existential challenge, and to develop a unified Arab position that puts an end to Israeli arrogance and curbs its continued aggression. We also call on the international community, and the Security Council in particular, to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, and to take urgent measures to deter Israel, prevent it from repeating its criminal attacks on Qatar or any other Arab country, and ensure that it does not escape punishment.
