Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Republic of Yemen condemned, in the strongest terms, the treacherous Israeli aggression against the Qatari capital, Doha. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement that this aggression is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly State of Qatar, a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, undermines regional and international efforts aimed at stopping the war on the Palestinian people, and places obstacles in the way of peace efforts and reaching a just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue. The statement reiterated the Republic of Yemen's full support for the sisterly State of Qatar in its sovereign right to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, calling on the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities regarding these violations and hold the perpetrators accountable.
