Special / Shabwa Brigadier General Abdrabbuh Lak'ab, commander of the Special Emergency Forces, arrived in Shabwa Governorate yesterday, Sunday, in his first public appearance in years, after a long absence from the security scene in the governorate. Brigadier General Lak'ab inspected the readiness of the Special Emergency Forces in a field visit, stressing the need to raise the level of readiness and combat readiness in anticipation of any future developments, and emphasizing the importance of discipline and commitment in carrying out tasks. This appearance is the first for Brigadier General Lak'ab in Shabwa since he left the governorate following the security events that the governorate witnessed years ago, which may indicate a gradual return to the forefront of security work.
