Arabian Gulf_Reuters: The Hebrew Channel 12 reported this morning, Wednesday, that the Israeli army is now besieging the entire city of Gaza and is carrying out operations in areas it has not entered since the beginning of the war, noting that the city is expected to be stormed in about two weeks. According to the channel, the army called on the city's residents to leave and head south. The channel pointed out that the evacuation of civilian residents from Gaza City to the south is a complex operation that may affect the timelines and the continued activity of the forces. The channel confirmed, quoting the Israeli army, that the operation in Gaza City will be strong, but it will not be quick, contrary to what some ministers may hope, in order to avoid endangering the lives of the hostages in the area, according to it. The channel quoted a senior Israeli official as saying, "We are striving to make a decision, and we are not running away from any difficult task. The only concern is that this war, in the eyes of the soldiers and the public, will turn from a war of no choice to a war of choice." At the same time, the Hebrew channel pointed out that efforts are still underway to complete a deal related to the prisoners. It adds, "However, it is not yet known what stage these talks have reached." It quoted officials close to Netanyahu as saying: "We are trying to avoid war. The Americans are telling us: seize the opportunity to destroy Hamas, but we know that time is limited."
