Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: Local sources reported today that two United Nations planes took off from Sanaa International Airport carrying about 40 wounded members of the Houthi group, who were injured in the recent Israeli airstrikes that targeted locations in the capital controlled by the group. Journalist Fares Al-Himyari, a Xinhua News Agency correspondent in Yemen, quoted the sources as saying that the evacuation took place during the past hours, noting that the injured are suffering from serious injuries as a result of the bombing that took place last Thursday. Al-Himyari explained, in a post on the "X" platform, that the two UN planes carried out the evacuation at close intervals, while aviation affairs expert Abdul Qader Al-Kharaz confirmed that the first plane arrived at 10:40 am and took off after about an hour, while the second arrived at 11:15 am and is still on the ground until noon today. According to Al-Kharaz, indications suggest that the wounded who were transported belong to the Houthi group, noting that their number may exceed 50 injured, while no UN flights were recorded during Friday and Saturday, and only one flight was scheduled to operate today towards Jordan. The evacuation coincided with reports of Houthi militants storming headquarters of UN agencies in Sanaa, and arresting local employees working with the World Food Program and the United Nations Children's Fund "UNICEF".
