Arab Sea - Follow-ups: The Israeli occupation government decided today, Sunday, to move its meetings and sessions of the Ministerial Council for Security and Political Affairs (the Cabinet) to a secret location, in a move that reflects escalating security concerns following the Houthis' threats to retaliate for the assassination of the head of their unrecognized government, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, and a number of his ministers, as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, last Thursday. According to the occupation army radio, the decision comes after a series of warnings issued by the Houthis, as the head of their political council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, threatened Israel with "revenge," calling on companies operating inside the Israeli entity to leave "before it is too late." In response, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the Houthis "will learn a harsh lesson," stressing that the strike that targeted their political and security leaders was "unprecedented and marks the beginning of a new path against the group." The assassination of Al-Rahwi and a number of his ministers is seen as a dangerous escalation in the direct confrontation between the Houthis and Israel, as it coincides with the expansion of the war in Gaza and its repercussions on the Red Sea front. Tel Aviv affirms that its operations are "deterrent and preemptive" in nature, while the Houthis are threatening to expand the scope of the response to include strategic facilities and Israeli companies.
