Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: A Yemeni government delegation, headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, visited today a number of major industrial companies in Ningxia Province, People's Republic of China, as part of efforts to enhance industrial and commercial cooperation between the two countries. The delegation was briefed on the latest technologies developed by Chinese companies in the fields of bearing manufacturing and motion systems, precision mechanical solutions for aviation, automobiles, and energy, in addition to industrial equipment based on digital control, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Minister Al-Ashwal praised the qualitative technological development achieved by China, stressing that these innovations represent the future of heavy industries and reflect its strategic vision for sustainable development. He affirmed that the visit embodies the Yemeni government's keenness to benefit from Chinese expertise to develop the local industrial sector, pointing out that the "Belt and Road" initiative provides broad opportunities to enhance bilateral partnership, especially in the areas of infrastructure, economic, and development projects in Yemen.
