Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: The so-called "President of the Supreme Political Council" in Sana'a, Mahdi al-Mashat, mourned on Saturday evening the head of the unrecognized "Change and Construction" government, Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi, and a number of his ministers who were killed in an Israeli raid that targeted a government meeting last Thursday, resulting in the death and injury of others with varying degrees of wounds. In a televised speech, al-Mashat began his speech by threatening Israel, saying: "Our revenge will not be delayed, and black days await you for what the hands of your dirty, treacherous government have committed." He also warned international companies present in the occupied territories to leave "before it is too late," noting that the blood of the Yemeni leaders would be "sufficient to turn the tables and bring down thrones." Al-Mashat affirmed that the "Change and Construction" government, by assignment, will continue to perform its duties within the framework of conducting business, and that state institutions will continue to provide their services, stressing that the Yemeni armed forces are "in a position of strength and capable of facing challenges," and that what the enemy obtained was merely a "stroke of luck that will not be repeated." Al-Mashat pointed out that the martyrs who were martyred in the raid "bore the responsibility in the most difficult stage of Yemen's history, and pledged to God and their people to support Gaza and Palestine, and they fulfilled their pledges with their blood, and crowned their journey with jihad and martyrdom for the sake of God Almighty." Al-Mashat reiterated Sana'a's supportive stance towards Gaza, saying that Yemen "will remain with the Palestinian people until the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted," stressing that the blood of the martyrs will be a greater motivation for steadfastness, perseverance, and dedication for the sake of God. He concluded his speech by emphasizing that the Yemeni people "will not be intimidated by raids or threats, and their dignity is from God, and His promise of victory is certain," adding that Yemen will continue to develop the capabilities of its armed forces, and that what happened in the raid "will not deter the national will and will not weaken the government and official institutions." The Houthi version of the "Saba" news agency had announced the death of the head of the "Change and Construction" government, Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi, and a number of his ministers as a result of Israeli raids that targeted a government meeting on Thursday afternoon. The agency did not mention the names of the ministers who were killed, but media sources confirmed the death of the ministers of Foreign Affairs, Electricity, Transportation, Public Works, Justice, Human Rights, Local Administration, Youth and Sports, Information, Social Affairs and Labor, Agriculture, and Economy in the Houthi government, in addition to the Deputy Minister of Interior, Al-Murtada, and the official of military operations, Sakhr Al-Sharqabi. No official announcement has yet been made about the names of any of the ministers or officials who died in the Israeli bombing.
