Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: The Houthi-affiliated "Saba" news agency reported that the so-called "President of the Supreme Political Council" in Sanaa has assigned Muhammad Ahmed Ahmed Muftah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, to carry out the duties of the Prime Minister. This decision comes after the announcement of the death of the head of the unrecognized Sanaa government, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, and a number of ministers, as a result of Israeli airstrikes that targeted a government workshop last Thursday, according to the Presidency in Sanaa. The statement added that a number of ministers sustained varying injuries and are receiving medical care, while the Presidency affirmed that the government will continue its duties within the framework of conducting business, and that state institutions are continuing to provide public services.
