Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The European Union has renewed its solidarity with the victims of enforced disappearance and the missing in Yemen, calling for revealing the truth, achieving justice, ensuring accountability, and the immediate release of all those illegally detained. The European Union delegation in Yemen affirmed, in a statement published on the "X" platform on the occasion of the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearance, "We stand in solidarity with all those forcibly disappeared and missing in Yemen, and we call for truth, justice, and ensuring accountability, and the immediate release of all those illegally detained." The International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearance falls on August 30 of each year, while human rights organizations indicate that Yemen is witnessing one of the highest rates of enforced disappearance in the region. The Houthi group bears the largest share, amid continuous demands to reveal the fate of those disappeared by various parties to the conflict.
