Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Brik affirmed that education represents a "battle of awareness and construction" in the face of Houthi ideology, stressing the protection of students' right to education and the regularity of study, with the government's commitment to seeking gradual solutions to improve teachers' conditions, taking into account the difficult economic circumstances. This came during his chairmanship in the interim capital, Aden, of an expanded meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Education and its offices in the liberated governorates, to discuss preparations for the new academic year and the challenges facing the educational process. The Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Education to coordinate with local authorities to secure the minimum needs of schools and tighten control over private schools, stressing that the success of the educational process is a shared responsibility between the state and society. For his part, the Minister of Education, Tariq Al-Akbari, reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the sector, stressing the doubling of efforts to maintain the regularity of the educational process in various liberated governorates.
