Arabian Sea – Yemen – Special: The leader of the Houthi group affirmed today that the Yemeni position, both officially and popularly, continues on its path aimed at doing what is stronger and greater, with the development of military capabilities, including "Palestine 2" missiles with cluster warheads and drones that were launched at sites inside the occupied territories, according to him. He pointed out that the Israeli aggression against civilians and public facilities embodies moral and humanitarian bankruptcy, warning of the dangers of the continuation of Zionist projects against the holy sites and Palestinian identity, and stressing the need for popular support and participation in marches and mass events. The speech coincided with intense Israeli bombing of Sana'a, where ten raids were carried out, and Israeli media confirmed that they targeted Houthi leaders, while a source in the group's Ministry of Defense denied the accuracy of this information. The Houthi leader's speech focused on military, political, and media developments, without mentioning the General People's Congress party or any political leaders inside Yemen. This also coincided with the issuance of a decision by the General Committee of the General People's Congress party by consensus, which stipulates the cancellation of Brigadier General Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh's promotion to the position of third deputy chairman of the party and his dismissal from membership of the Congress, according to what was confirmed by the Congress leader Hussein Hazeb. The speech of the Houthi group's leader is seen as an attempt to indicate the Congress's independence in its decisions, while the actual decision comes amid increasing pressure exerted by the group on the party in areas under its control, including preventing the holding of any events on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the party's founding on August 24, which observers considered evidence of the continuation of the policy of subjugating the Congress to the will of the group.
