Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The joint security campaign forces in Al-Subaiha districts of Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen, managed to seize a boat carrying a huge quantity of narcotic pills, after chasing it in the high seas off the coasts near Bab al-Mandab, in a new qualitative operation added to the record of security achievements. Security sources said that the boat, which was seized after a monitoring operation, followed by a chase by patrols of the joint security campaign in the high seas, off the coasts near Bab al-Mandab, was carrying 150 bags of narcotic pills, each bag containing 1,000 narcotic pills, with a total of 150,000 Captagon pills. The sources explained that the security campaign forces seized the seized items, arrested the smuggling elements, numbering four people, and the legal department began opening an investigation report on the smuggling operation, in preparation for transferring them to the competent authorities, to take the necessary legal measures, according to "September Net" in its version under the control of the legitimate government. In the same context, the leadership of the security campaign said that this successful security strike comes within the framework of the continuous efforts to pursue smuggling networks that are trying to target society and drown it with drug poisons, noting that the smugglers have not and will not find shelter or escape, whether at sea or on land, before the eyes of the security men who continue day and night to protect society. It stressed that the security services will not tolerate these smugglers who tamper with the security of the country and feed the market with these poisons that cause great destruction to families and the loss of young people, and that the hand of justice will reach everyone who dares to trade or smuggle drugs. The joint security campaign stressed that the success of this operation was the result of cooperation and coordination between its various units, and the efforts of its men who are on the lookout for every smuggling attempt. The campaign reiterated that its battle with organized crime networks is continuing relentlessly, and that the security and stability of the country is a red line that cannot be crossed. It also renewed its pledge to the people of the country to remain steadfast in the face of everyone who seeks to spread chaos, threaten minds, or tamper with the future of generations. In the context, the member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, praised the vigilance and achievements of the joint security campaign forces on the coasts of Lahj Governorate and the great successes they are achieving with the security services in combating smuggling, seizing prohibited items, and working to achieve security and stability. Al-Muharrami stressed the need to redouble efforts in combating the crime of smuggling, and preventing the passage of dangerous materials, especially drugs and weapons, which the terrorist Houthi militia, supported by the Iranian regime and drug trafficking gangs, are always seeking to smuggle across the coasts. Over the past few months, the security and military services in the legitimate government have seized tons of drugs coming from Iran, which were on their way to areas controlled by the Houthi group. It is noteworthy that drug trafficking has become an integral part of the Iranian support system for the Houthi group, through which it seeks to finance the internal war, dismantle Yemeni societies through the spread of drugs, and then export the crisis to the countries of the region.
