Yemen: Meteorologist expects heavy rainfall in these three governorates

**Arab Sea - Reports:** **Weather expert Shehab Al-Feel predicted heavy thunderstorms over large areas of Yemen, starting on the morning of Wednesday, August 27, God willing.** **Al-Feel indicated in a statement that the rains will be the heaviest in the western coastal areas extending from Midi in Hajjah Governorate, passing through Hodeidah, and up to Mocha in Taiz, and will continue intermittently throughout the day and evening. Opportunities also include the western mountainous highlands, including Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, west of Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, and Al-Dhalea.** **He added that the opportunities also include the governorates of Al-Bayda, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, and Al-Mahra in the east of the country, while the rains are expected to decrease slightly in the capital, Sana'a, and areas east and north of Sana'a, Marib, and Al-Jawf, with the possibility of scattered showers that may be thundery in the evening.** **Al-Feel concluded his statement with a prayer that these rains would be a blessing and mercy for the country and its people, stressing that the expectations are subject to change, and God knows best.**
