Yemen: Torrential floods cause two deaths and disrupt traffic in Taiz.

**Arabian Sea - Reports:** Yesterday evening, heavy rains fell in the Shar'ab Ar Rawnah and Jabal Habashi districts of Taiz Governorate, leading to the death of two people. The floods also swept away a number of cars and agricultural lands, and caused traffic to stop on village roads as a result of landslides and the accumulation of floods. Local sources indicated that the extent of the damage is great, and that dozens of families have been affected by the torrential waters, amid appeals to official authorities and relief organizations to intervene quickly. For his part, the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, directed the concerned authorities to urgently go to the affected areas, provide the necessary assistance, and submit a comprehensive report on the losses.
