Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the interim capital Aden, announced today the cancellation of 508 trademarks for failure to complete legal procedures, in addition to the deletion of 1,902 trademarks for failure to renew them, and the deletion of 6,371 commercial agencies for failure to renew them with the Ministry's office. The ministry confirmed in a statement that it will continue to delete and cancel any inactive agency, record, or trademark that has not been activated, renewed, or completed its legal procedures, noting that these measures come within the framework of reforms and economic recovery, activating central revenues, and confronting merchants who refuse to renew their trademarks and agencies, and who have sufficed with renewing them in areas controlled by the Houthi group in Sana'a. The ministry noted that this announcement coincides with the activation of its supervisory role over markets in all its offices in the governorates, and the intensification of field campaigns in parallel with the recovery of the national currency.
