Arab Sea - Follow-ups: French Minister of Commerce, Serge Papin, revealed in an interview with "Le Parisien" newspaper that the consumer watchdog in France has detected the sale of illegal products through six online platforms, including the Chinese site "Shein," "Wish," "Temu," "AliExpress," "eBay," and "Joom." These statements come in the wake of an investigation conducted by the authority that revealed the presence of sex dolls resembling children and other prohibited products being sold through the "Shein" platform, which sparked a wave of widespread anger and criticism. The minister's spokesperson said that the case has been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office, noting that the minister will soon host the trade ministers of the European Union in Paris to discuss ways to address this phenomenon, which is a direct threat to local retailers who are suffering from unfair competition against low-cost and fast-marketing goods coming from abroad.
