Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Republic of Yemen participated today in the activities of the 15th Annual Meeting of the Arab-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCC), held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, with broad participation from representatives of Arab countries and the Malaysian economic sector. In a speech delivered on behalf of the Malaysian Minister of Investment and International Trade, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dato' Khairul Yahri Yaacob, affirmed the strength of economic and investment relations between Malaysia and the Arab countries, stressing the importance of the role played by the Chamber in strengthening these relations and expanding their horizons. For his part, the Yemeni Ambassador to Malaysia and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps delivered a speech on behalf of the Council of Arab Ambassadors, in which he affirmed the importance of the Arab-Malaysian partnership in the economic and commercial fields, calling for the development of the institutional role of the Chamber and its transformation into a more influential platform in supporting investments and joint initiatives. The Ambassador stressed the need to consolidate the culture of social impact in commercial work, explaining that economic success should go beyond the limits of financial profit to leave a tangible developmental and social footprint that contributes to improving the quality of life and serves communities, in line with the principles of justice and sustainable development. He also pointed out that enhancing the social responsibility of companies and entrepreneurs has become a necessity in light of global economic and environmental challenges, expressing his confidence in the ability of the Chamber and its members to be pioneers in this path. The Council of Arab Ambassadors renewed its commitment to supporting the Chamber's activities and standing by its efforts, in a way that enhances the building of genuine partnerships based on mutual respect and common interests between the Arab and Malaysian sides.
