Special / Aden The Central Bank of Yemen, headquartered in the capital Aden, announced the launch of auction No. (15-2025) to sell an amount of 30 million US dollars, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. The bank explained that bids are submitted via the Refinitiv electronic platform, while it will allow bids to be submitted on behalf of banks not connected to the platform based on an official request via the dedicated email. The auction starts at 12:00 noon and closes at 2:00 pm on the same day. The bank stipulated that bids must be in multiples of one thousand dollars, and that the total bids of each participant should not exceed 30% of the value of the auction, with no possibility of canceling or modifying bids after they are submitted. The bank will cover the banks' accounts with their foreign correspondents within two working days from the date of the auction. According to the bank's statement, the auction results will be published on the same day via the Central Bank of Yemen's website.
