Dubai – The Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation for Education, in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation, has launched a regional program aimed at training and qualifying 7,000 young refugees and displaced persons in Arab countries affected by wars. The program aims to enhance the skills of these young people in vital fields such as technology, entrepreneurship, and services, contributing to improving their opportunities for integration into the labor market and reducing their dependence on humanitarian aid. Strategic Angle: This initiative reflects an alternative Arab approach to managing the refugee and displacement file, based on economic empowerment instead of relief dependence. Its success could create a new regional model that contributes to enhancing social stability in the region.
