Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, praised the distinguished participation of the Yemeni pavilion in the 7th China-Arab States Expo, held in Ningxia Province, People's Republic of China, which reflected the authenticity of Yemeni heritage by showcasing handicrafts, folk costumes, and traditional agricultural products. This came during Minister Al-Ashwal's visit to the exhibition at the head of a government delegation that included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ali Al-Sharafi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Ghazi Lahmar, and the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Mohammed Ashal. The Minister and the accompanying delegation toured the sections of the Yemeni pavilion, where they listened to an explanation from those in charge about the facilities and privileges provided by the Chinese government, which embodies the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries. Al-Ashwal explained that the Yemeni pavilion witnessed a wide turnout from visitors and approval from the participating Arab and Chinese delegations from various provinces, stressing that the ministry seeks to invest in such international events to introduce the investment opportunities available in Yemen, attract foreign investments, as well as promote distinguished Yemeni products such as coffee, honey and other agricultural products. The Minister of Industry and Trade affirmed that Yemen's participation in these international forums represents a message of openness to the world despite the current challenges, and an opportunity to strengthen economic and cultural relations with China and the Arab countries.
