Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Ministry of Communications in Aden launched the second phase of the "Aden Net 4G" service today, Sunday, and provided more than 50,000 new SIM cards to citizens in Aden, Abyan, Lahj, and Hadramout. The Acting Minister of Communications, Wa'ed Batheeb, said that the expansion came due to the high demand for the service, and that there are new phases on the way that will reach various areas under the control of the legitimate government. He stressed that the goal is to reduce the digital divide and provide a safe and reliable internet away from the control of the Houthis. As for the Executive Director of "Aden Net", Mansour Al-Walidi, he explained that the technical teams have completed the preparation of the towers and service centers, and that SIM card sales will start soon through specific points of sale, calling on people to follow the official announcements to find out the mechanisms for obtaining them.
