Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The technical committee for the state's general budget for the upcoming year 2026 AD discussed today, during its meeting in the interim capital, Aden, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Finance, head of the committee, Hani Wahab, the general policies for the state budget preparation project. During the meeting, they also touched on identifying national spending priorities, determinants, foundations, rules, and guidelines for budget preparation, as well as reviewing the foundations for estimating the general budget framework, the challenges and difficulties, and the initial position of the general budget framework. The Deputy Minister of Finance, head of the technical budget committee, said, "In light of the challenges and difficulties, the decline in public resources, and the increased demand for spending, decisions related to resource allocation have become more difficult, and this requires taking many policies aimed at mobilizing and developing revenues, in a way that enables the state to fulfill its obligations."
