Arab Gulf - Translations: A father has died after being bitten by a pet spider he bought online a few weeks ago, according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail." The source stated that Mark Anthony Kirby, from Prescot in Merseyside (northwest England), was bitten by a venomous spider and died on August 2nd. His family expressed their deep sadness at the death of the father (34 years old) just days after he bought the spider. Kayleigh Gill, his former partner of 16 years, said that the man became obsessed with spiders after being afraid of insects. Kayleigh, the mother of his two children, told the "Liverpool Echo" that Mark was in Scotland and complained of feeling tired, but he kept joking while eating a meal in a restaurant, before returning to his home on July 26th. Mark then continued to complain of flu-like symptoms, temperature fluctuations, and pain in his limbs over the following week. On August 2nd, Mark told her that he could not breathe properly, which made her call an ambulance. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they were unable to save him, and he died. In praising the father Mark, Kayleigh said: "He bought five spiders online two or three weeks ago, and he was obsessed with them." Kayleigh added that the autopsy has not definitively determined the cause of death yet, but she believes that the symptoms that appeared over a week and a half indicate the possibility of a spider bite. She pointed out that Mark told her about the bite, but he did not go to the hospital.
