**((Arabian Sea)) Follow-ups:** The National Meteorological Center issued urgent warnings today, Tuesday, of heavy thunderstorms accompanied by storms and strong winds in a number of Yemeni governorates, calling on citizens and concerned authorities to exercise extreme caution and preparedness. The center stated in its weather bulletin that the effects of the low-pressure system will include the mountainous highlands from Saada Governorate in the north to Taiz and Lahj in the south, with the possibility of extending to Marib and Al-Jawf and the western coasts, in addition to parts of the governorates of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, and Aden. The meteorology department warned of the danger of the formation of flash floods and landslides, especially in mountainous areas and slopes, calling on drivers to be careful while driving on slippery roads and to reduce speed to avoid traffic accidents. The center stressed the importance of the readiness of local authorities to face any potential emergencies, and to take preventive measures to reduce human and material damage, especially in areas at risk. These warnings come amid unstable weather conditions in the country, which requires continuous monitoring of weather developments in the coming days.
