The Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted that the weather today will be moderate on the coastal areas with light to moderate winds, active on Bab al-Mandab and the southwestern coasts. In the mountainous highlands, clear and cold to very cold weather is expected, while in the desert and plateau areas it will be moderate during the day and cold at night. The center also published the expected temperatures in major cities, warning citizens—especially the elderly and children—of the noticeable drop in temperatures at night, and calling on farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers to take the necessary precautions. The marine bulletin predicted that the sea will be calm in the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, and Socotra, and moderate to turbulent in the rest of the coasts, with warnings to fishermen and seafarers about the turbulence of the waves and the intensity of the winds in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.
