The weather forecast center predicted that the coasts will witness clear to partly cloudy weather, hot and humid during the day and moderate at night, with light to moderate winds that are sometimes active in Socotra, Bab al-Mandab, and the southwestern coasts. It also indicated that the mountainous highlands will be moderate during the day and cold to very cold at night with the possibility of frost and fog formation, while the desert areas will record hot weather during the day and very cold at night. The center called on citizens, especially the elderly, farmers, and livestock breeders, to take precautions against the drop in temperature and the formation of frost, warning fishermen of sea disturbances in the coasts of Socotra, Bab al-Mandab, and the Red Sea.
