Yemen: Moderate weather on the coasts and severe cold in the highlands.

The weather forecast center predicted that the Yemeni coasts will witness clear to partly cloudy weather tending to be moderate, with active winds on Bab al-Mandab and the southwestern coasts. The center indicated that the mountainous highlands will record cold to very cold weather, while the desert areas will be moderate during the day and cold at night. It also published details of the expected temperatures, which ranged in coastal cities between 30-31°C for the maximum, and in the highlands between 23-27°C during the day, with a minimum that may reach 4°C in some areas. The center called on citizens, especially the elderly and children, to be careful of cold waves, and also called on farmers to take measures to protect their crops and livestock. In the coastal strip, it is expected that the sea will be light to moderate in most coasts, with warnings of sea disturbances and high waves in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.
